Get ready for Summer Reading with this drop-in festival for all ages at the Anderson Main Library! The Anderson County Library's Summer Reading Kick-Off is happening Saturday, June 12 from 10am-1pm. Find family games such as the Octo-toss and putt-putt or crafts such as making an animal mask at stations around the Children's area and Courtyard. Play rec room games in the Gambrell Teen Room, like air hockey, ping-pong, and foosball, or explore the newly renovated Electric City Creative and make a custom picture frame using the Cricut. Meet Reedy Rip'It from the Greenville Drive, take a spin on the Greenville Triumph's prize wheel for cool prizes, or make some furry friends with rabbits from TLC Rabbitry. Library staff will help you sign up the whole family for Summer Reading, share schedules of upcoming events, information on the Move It! Challenge from AnMed Health, and the great prizes available! All activity stations are spaced throughout the library for social distancing.
