This year's CHAMPIONS RUN has a plot twist - it's the VIRTUAL EDITION. It's the same great superhero-themed fun to help some of our littlest heroes but instead of gathering all together, we are challenging you to set your own course. Let's get moving!!! Presented by Panagakos Asphalt Paving Dust off your cape and join us for a Virtual 5K run benefiting children living with "different-abilities" and special needs! Run, walk, stroll, swim, canoe or rollerblade - it's up to you. The race will be open for participation anytime Oct. 3rd - Oct. 10th. Registration and issuing of bibs will be completed through runsignup.com. Once you have completed your distance, you can also upload your results using runsignup.com, either through a web browser or text message, and they will be updated in real time. We will also be posting the race routes for each distance, so if you are local you can run the official route! Included in your registration will be a special 2020 version of the run t-shirt! Packet pick-up will be available in a drive-thru format for those local to Anderson, SC Step 1: Register for the Champions Run Step 2: Print out your bib, and attach it to you if possible. Step 3: Wear your favorite superhero gear, cape, mask or simply a hero t-shirt (or whatever makes you feel like a CHAMPION). Finally - Cross your finish line, take a selfie and celebrate! Share your photo using #championsrun20 You can also upload your results to runsignup.com We will have some special awards this year: Group Prizes (largest number of participants in a group): Sorority Business School Church *Most Spirited – (awarded via picture submitted to social media) Individual Awards: Oldest Participant Youngest Participant Participant Registered from the Farthest Away Most Spirited – (awarded via picture submitted to social media) If your group would like to participate, we are utilizing RunSignUp's group option.
