Meet Chantal Fryer!
Chantal Fryer serves as the Director of Business Services with the SC Department of CommerceChantal has served with SC Commerce for 17 years and most recently served as Deputy Director for the Business Services division. Business Services staff help the SC business ecosystem start, grow and thrive by providing tailored assistance and resources. In her role, she oversees a staff of 38 who provide Existing Industry, Recycling, Supplier Outreach, Small Business, Innovation, Trade, Emergency Management and Workforce resources to assist local to global companies for their optimal health.She previously served as director of Commerce’s Recycling Market Development team, growing South Carolina recycling markets in the state’s $13.6 billion recycling industry. Chantal has extensive state government experience to include working for the South Carolina Energy Office, the Executive Office and Cabinet Affairs of the Governor’s Office and the former Budget and Control Board’s Executive Director’s office.Images
