Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for managing the volunteer program at Meals on Wheels - Anderson, ensuring effective scheduling, recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries, coordinates route deliveries, maintains volunteer records, and develops outreach and engagement strategies. Additionally, the Volunteer Coordinator collaborates with leadership to foster partnerships, assists with fundraising and special events, and provides support for day-to-day operations. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A college degree and experience in volunteer management or nonprofit work are preferred.
